Chord Interval Finger Workout Drill

Just recorded a short video to show how chord tones relate to a C shape chord on the G string. Also a good finger workout to get your pinky involved. Cool way to add some
Motion to a chord if you are sitting on it for several measures.

Very cool Bill. I would normally use my pinky to play that root on that triad shape and adjust the fingering as it went up. But it goes to show there is more than one way to do everything on guitar. More importantly, this gets everyone clearly visualizing these important intervals. So thanks for the quick but effective demo. I’m sure everyone picked up their guitar after watching 🙂

Nice one Bill. For a minute I thought someone put the strings on your guitar backward, but then I realized I had just popped into one of those pesky mirror universes. Lately I just keep on popping in and out of alternate universes.
And I ask myself, “Well, how did I get here?”
And, “How do I work this?”
And, “Where is that large automobile?”
And I think, “This is not my beautiful house”
And I think, “This is not my beautiful wife”

That is a cool little run , and a fun exercise highlighting those intervals around the chord shape and pentatonic scale ,I can see myself using this a lot .
