It is really easy to be a little jaded and cynical, but this story rocks!
During the 100 show for the 360 Tour in Nashville. Towards the end of the concert Bono sees a blind guy in the audience with a sign asking if he can play guitar with Bono. Bono brings this blind guy up on stage asks which song he wants to do, then the guy dedicates the song to his wife, ‘All I Want is You’. The guy starts playing it, Bono joins in, as well as the rest of the band. Just amazing, gives me goose flesh. Oh AND Bono gives the dude his guitar! Very cool.

It’s great that they would do that for the guy, and break down the audience / superstar barrier. He will have a great memory of that show for the rest of his life. I saw them in the early 80’s for the War tour at the Tower theater in Philly. What a great show. The place only holds about 3000 people, and I was able to make it to the stage, climb up, and watch the show sitting there off to the side on stage. I would have thought that would be impossible now, but maybe not! They were like a breath of fresh air back then, with a fresh take on old style rock and roll when Hall and Oates, Donna Summer, Micheal Jackson, Duran Duran, Prince etc etc etc were putting out highly polished pop stuff.
