Hi Brian, I would like to get your blues course, but I want to be sure that it’s what I need. I want to learn how to move all over the neck when Iam doing solos. How I can play transition between chords, etc. the reason Iam asking is because I have bought a lot stuff online but sometimes is to technical for me, to much theory, at this point I just want to jam doing some solos.
BTW, thanks a lot for all the stuff that you do for newbies like myself, even though I use to play many years a go.
Thanks againOswaldo

Hi Oswald,
I got the Blues Lead Course about 10 days ago. I wasn’t sure either and hesitated for a bit before I jumped in. I haven’t regretted it for a minute. Brian gives you just the technical knowledge you need for each step and gets you soloing right away. Then more technical stuff so you can take your playing to another level, and so on. It’s the perfect mix of learning something new and putting it to work right away. This course comes in above my expectations. Brian is a caring teacher and is only interested in helping you to learn. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Oswaldo, I think this course will be a great fit for you – I’ve tried to make it pertain to beginner, intermediate and even advanced players so that there’s something for everyone. D5 – thanks for that awesome testimonial! Much appreciated 🙂

+1 to getting the course. There’s loads to learn and Brian goes into it all in depth in a very accessible way. I’ve just started going through it myself.

I’m a beginner. I bought it and I liked it. Just my $.02.

Droidlizard. You’re a beginner, so go slow, be good with your progress before moving on. Don’t worry about speed. Playing each note correctly is WAY more important than playing fast. Speed will come, and the world awaits. Like Billy Joel said: Vienna waits for you! Just play.

++ here too…I started with this for me and have found this is the perfect niche to keep my 10-yr old interested in learning Guitar. I can’t thank you enough for that alone!
I’ve downloaded it all to my iPad and taken it on the road with me when on travel for business as well! Awesome stuff and WELL worth the outlay. I certainly don’t mind paying for quality and this is the best so far.

im thinking about getting the course also, Im about intermediate player, been playing for a long time but I just haven’t grown or anything just playing the same few songs for the kids lol. But times have changed and now im getting back into it. I have been using but it kinda sucks, started out in the “learn a style” section for blues and they tend to jump around, like ill have one set of lessons that are grate then the next set is over my head like not even close to the same lvl and its very annoying. So im guessing this course is not like that, go’s in 1,2,3 is that right?

Hi, Brian…quick question about the downloadables section. I saw the pattern1 pdf for all keys, but I’d be interested in having one pic of a neck with “all” 5 patterns maybe in alternating colors. You could even hash those that overlap. If that’s already there, can you point me the right direction? If it’s not, can you put some dots on the neck pic you already have to show all 5 patterns up the neck?
Thanx a bunch!

The Gibson Blues Lesson with Steve Krenz is really great! Requires that you already have a intermediate knowledge of the guitar. Until then, I would definitely recommend this program, especially when you consider the price! There are so many hucksters and scam artists out there taking advantage of sincere people who want to just play the guitar, it is nice to know that you can trust and rely on Active Melody. Enjoy getting back on the fret board!
