“I Wanna Be Your Man” was written in 1963 by John and Paul for Ringo, who was required to sing one song on every album. Accordingly, the vocals and chords were tailored to his limited abilities.

The song’s special appeal, however, lies in its intense groove, featuring heavy use of the tremolo effect on John’s rhythm guitar.
Around the same time, the Fab Four happened to run into the Rolling Stones at London’s Marquee Club, who were looking for a song for their next album. Generously, the Beatles “gave” them this very song, which the Stones went on to release—with great success—in a completely different form. (See appendix.)

I really like these old, simple songs from the early days in Liverpool, and I’ve tried to capture some of that groove and atmosphere in my video.

Wow! Nicely done Dieter. The Stones certainly put their own vibe on it didn’t they.

Great job Dieter, you always put a lot of work into all your video’s.

That Stones rendition just goes to show how unique of a vocal character and attitude that Mic Jagger has. What an icon.

Root note patterns >>> CAGED shapes >>> TRIAD'S. Just put in the work and watch your guitar skills soar.
