Here’s another Beatles cover of mine.

“And Your Bird Can Sing” was written by John Lennon, with lyrics whose meaning probably only he himself understood.

Because the first version was too slow and didn’t fit the Revolver album, they rearranged the song this way.

John played the rhythm guitar almost throughout, using simple quarter notes. George played the slightly lower solo, and Paul played the high notes as an overtube.

As always, Paul gave the song its “soul” with his fantastic melodic, chord-driven bass lines. In the video,

I’ve added a little German specialty as both the intro and outro.

Could be my favorite Beatles album Deiter… love your bass playing, it really stands out! Well done, great guitar work as well. You got some guitars.

Another amazing production from you Dieter! So good playing all these parts, kudos to you. And I really appreciate the time and effort here, your videos must take many hours from start to finish. All the best! 😎🎸😎
PS Love the clock at the beginning and at the end, a nice touch!
