Australian Professor: Ivermectin ‘Amazingly Successful’ in Killing Coronavirus
By Tauren Dyson | Saturday, 08 August 2020 10:27 AM

An Australian drug known as Ivermectin, which is already in use throughout the world to treat parasitic conditions, is showing great results in killing coronavirus in studies involving patients, according to Sky News.

“Because I’m involved in developing these in the U.S. where all the patients are, there are a number of studies that are amazingly successful. We’re talking close to 100%. In fact, we haven’t seen a result yet under 100%. It looks like corona is very simple to kill,” Professor Thomas Borody, medical director of Australia’s Center for Digestive Disease. “It’s available as a prescription medication. You wouldn’t use it alone … but you add two other things to it such as doxycycline and zinc.”

Ivermectin is already approved by the FDA and is on the World Health Organization’s list of model list of essential medicines.

“We had a 14-hospital trial in Bangladesh. We got [cured] 100 out of 100. In China, they tried to reproduce it. They got 60 out of 60 cured … So I am behind the Ivermectin, doxycycline, zinc treatment because it has very few side effects and is a real killer of coronavirus,” Borody said.

Borody said the Ivermectin tablet could cost as little as $2, which is likely why drugmakers haven’t promoted the drug’s usage. He also suggested that have a cure for the disease easily would do away with the need for people to be hospitalized, which would make doctors less money.

“There’s no huge pharmaceutical company behind it to spend millions of dollars and put people in places to treat,” Borody said.

I don’t know if you remember all the pain, suffering, and death caused by stomach ulcers for the past hundred years, until during the 1980s an Australian doctor began to suspect they were not actually caused by stomach acid. By observing the occurrence of ulcers in sheep, he suspected that they were caused by a common bacteria, and that ulcers were actually contagious. To verify this, he actually ate some of the stomach lining of ulcerous sheep, and sure enough, he developed stomach ulcers. He took an antibacterial and was quickly 100% cured. That caused the collapse of the most lucrative sales branch of the world’s major pharmaceutical companies: Antacid formulations for ulcers. It cost them trillions (not billions) of dollars in lost business, and stomach ulcers are now a thing of the past. Dr Borody was that doctor. Ivermectin was developed in Japan and the US in 1975, so its patent has expired, making it dirt cheap. Its effect on viruses has been known about for decades. It was successfully used against SARS and HIV, which makes you wonder why did it take so long for its effectiveness against Covid19 to be recognized?

Oh Steve What a gem of extra info thanks I know you were upside with this stuff but what a thing and like he says ‘there aint no money in it’ . Wont it be utterly wonderful if this approach proves to be the way forward just a tiny bit of medical supervision and problem solved for a few dollars a head lets hope its right. Your addition is fascinating and adds weight.

      That sure is great news.

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . ๐Ÿ™‚ 6stringerPete

It really is all about โ€melodyโ€. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. ๐Ÿ™‚ Pete
