Hi all,
I been all over the place with this, at some point I think I wrote a 30 second song. But after all is said and done this is what I got. Funny thing is….what I posted is what I started with. 3 week ago.

That’s a relaxing sound you came up with.
Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

Hey Scott, nice steady strum and interesting voicings. This could easily develop into a nice catchy song.

Nicely done, Scott – could certainly hear this being the hook of a longer tune. – Mark 👍🎶😎

Sounds great, Scott. First half definitely has a hook quality to it. Reminds me Little Girl by Syndicate of Sound in the 60s.

That led to some interesting thoiughts Scott, about where the hook lies. For me, here in your nice piece, it was somewhere within the pervcussion & chord/rhythm playing. Very nice and engaging.

Nice one, Scott. It reminds me a bit of the Texas-Thai-jazz-fusion group Khruangbin.

Nice one Scott and a great example of how the rhythmic element of playing contributes to making a great hook.

Nice! Loved the initial cascade of notes, sounded like a running stream, and then the rhythm kicked in. Very original song idea, those initial spontaneous ideas are usually what sticks the best. My 30s hook creation experience was very similar.
