This was a difficult one for me to come up with a “Hook” -not sure if that worked 🙂

I liked that one Ruediger, with that catchy refrain you’ve got the makings of a good stand-out Hook.

Well, that certainly worked for me, Ruediger – kind of a call/response tune that I really enjoyed. – Mark 👍🎶😎

Nice arrangement, the central motif is a standout ,I agree with Marks comment works well as a call and response theme .

Hi Ruediger, I think the repeating lick in this one definitely qualifies as a hook. It makes the piece recognizable and gets your toes tapping.

I thought it was a good hook Ruediger. Very old school and authentic blues.

Had all the hallmarks of a good hook to me.
Repeatedly and a sound the listener can easily relate with a grounding in the blues. That’s a fine submission Ruediger. 👍

Yep, that’s a perfect hook. I should know, since I’ve recently become an expert on hooks, thanks to this challenge.

Back to basics, but honestly transposing a lick like this is textbook hook. Bravo! Just loved the groove and call/response conversation on this.

Yeah man, that works. Lots of repetition makes it memorable and enjoyable to listen to the call and response.

                              Great blusey hook Ruediger.

Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

That works, Rüdiger! You can repeat that over and over, like some blues classics have done before!
