Phew this was tough! I floundered around for days trying to come up with something interesting, across a bunch of styles. I think this was my best effort using the Country Rock backing track from EP091. I was drawn to that in the first place as I wanted to do something that used the bridge pick up of tele. They’re practically cosmetic on mine.
Brian set the limit at 30 seconds and I think I’ve used every one of those!
Does a hook make the song? Have to hope so as that’s all I’ve got!
Looking forward to getting infestested by ear worms from the rest of you this weekend 👍 -

Every country rock number needs a Hook Andy and you’ve just played a great one.

I liked it Andy! Great energy and country vibe. Repeat that a few times in a full song and everyone will be line dancing right along.

Awesome “get everyone out on the dance floor” kind of hook.
Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

Very clever and catchy, love that lick right on bar one. And just nailing that country playing, confident and commanding!

Really rocks with a country twang. The tele bridge has such bite, we definitely need to take more advantage .

Lots of energy to encourage everybody to get up and dance. Very much the bones of a song already, so the next stage will be just the decorations. Sounds great.

What would country rock be without a hook?!? You certainly squeezed a lot into 30 seconds, in fact, it felt like a whole mini song – or a jingle! Loved the classic opening and the tone, it was a good hunch to get that bridge twang working, Andy!
