That’s the spirit of the thing, Wayne. I love two chord jams.

I couldn’t put my finger on it right away, but I thought I heard something similar before rhythm wise as the ending phase. Then it hit me. “under the boardwalk, boardwalk” 🙂

Still a great simple way to start with and create a groove.

Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

Yes! That’s very hookish. I think most of us did a pretty good job creating a hook, so that makes us officially a bunch of professional hookers.

The best hooks stand out for their simplicity and catchiness. Just like yours here, Wayne. That’s exactly what this challenge is all about.

Great stuff. Super catchy and fitting melodies over that jam. Love how you harmonize that little bit at the end!

Hi Wayne, I think your 2 chords and the rhythm with which you play them makes a great hook. It sets the mood, repeats rhythmically, and lays the bed for your solos or the rest of the piece. I liked it!

Oh, that was great, Wayne! I love two chord jams and believe it or not, Em & D is my most favorite duo! 🙂

I can just imagine so many ideas coming from that nice rhythmic hook.
