This is my first response to AM challenges and hope you like my presentation.
Following the guidelines of the challenge the limitation I put on my self is finger picking and staying with few notes of the backing track Bm/Em/F#m -

I apologize for posting early! I was testing the you tube file.
My first post I was not sure how it works.-

No worries, its kind of informal. And with members around the world, posts start rolling in overnight (to at least us in the USA).

Those of us in New Zealand and Australia are a day ahead of you guys in the US and EU, thanks to the International Date Line. As long as you get the title right, just post it anytime you get close to Friday.

Excellent rendition, liked very much your soulful improvisation over this minor blues! Your finger picking playing is very expressive and with a few notes very well played you’re telling a story with your piece of music! Enjoyed very much to listen to it and congrats on your first challenge: great work!

KT, great first submission! Really great sound, the fingerpicking mellowed out the tone and fit perfectly with the backing track.
Welcome to the challenges! -

Hi KT, glad you could make it (I saw your post the other day when you asked about publishing something here).
As for your contribution, I am excited about the tone you got out of the guitar by using fingers. Very suitable to the backing track.
Great musicianship at display!

Welcome KT!
The finger picking doesn’t seem to have limited your blues chops at all. In fact, it might have contributed a softer and more nuanced voice to your skillful licks.
(Plus there are plenty great guitarists who finger pick the blues — Mark Knopfler comes to mind.)

welchem KT, You can’t improve a first impression. But you don’t need to. What a start to the challenges. That all sounds very much like The Thrill is gone. Great!!!
Thank youWerner

Nicely played, KT! It reminds me a bit of “The Thrill Is Gone” (EP078, I believe).

Oh, wow! That sounded so lovely, KT! Love your relaxed style of playing, as well as the effortless melodies that just flew from under your fingers, simply delightful! The limitations you imposed on yourself served the song well.
Welcome to the challenges, looking forward to your future responses!
