Here’s my video of my first time trying out slide guitar it’s something that I’ve been wanting to learn.. I’m using standard tuning I know there’s a lot of open tuning I could use but I wanted to start on a more challenging note so I decided just stick to standard so I made up quickly a backing track in the key of E and here it is…if anyone has any tips please do not hesitate to let me know!!!https://vimeo.com/1228108957?share=copy&fl=sv&fe=ci

Great stuff, Catherine. I have no advice to offer. I like that you have chosen the pinky for the slide, that would be my choice. One day I will get around to this challenge and probably purchase some courses from this guy.

Ah! your first time hey? I don’t believe you.
Sounds so nice, and your doggie seems to like too.
I use my ring finger to play slide, I bought a set of 3 slides for my pinky but never really got to it.
Keep on sliding hey.AndréM

Wonderful Catherine. It has your signature soulful feel, even if it is the first go with the slide.

I would never guess that was your first attempt with a slide. It was just wonderful. I’m glad it didn’t wake/disturb the dog!

Sounds like great slide to me, Catherine, and I liked your moody tune you came up with equally well!!
