The problem is, I’ve got about 10 things that are holding me back, not just one…
The best practice tips I got so far came from a book called “The Practice of Practice”. Things like: Practice super slow when learning a new lesson. Don’t practice too long at one time. Try micro-practice sessions several times a day. Run through the lesson in your head whenever you get a chance. If you can’t hum it, you can’t play it. Etc.

But it’s an interesting video, and thanks for posting it. Now I want a bass like that.

I’ve just started reading The Practice of Practice — some great information in there already. It’s a definite must-read (thanks to the people in this forum who turned me on to this book!)

Think I downloaded that to my kindle, tbh I got bored with it and decided to just go practise my guitar instead cos the only things that became apparent to me is “there are no shortcuts” and no matter what, “you have to put in the practise”..Keep it fun, it is other than putting in the practise another important factor.
