I was practicing this with a bad back. I couldn’t even put the guitar back on the stand. Not sure what happened but I did some garden work 2 days ago and been in pain since yesterday. No improvement by tomorrow, trip to the hospital for me.

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Endless possibilities with this progression Pete, hope your back comes around sooner rather than later.

            Pete,

The Micro lessons are a lot of fun. So many lessons to learn….( it’s a good thing ).

Hope your back gets better real soon. I have had that back pain and it’s no fun.

              Pete,
Love those micro’s! I can completely relate to the back issue. Hope it feels better soon.

Thanks Scott. I never had back problems with pain and now I can say it is pure “h…” This morning, still hurting but not as bad. The pain moved to the hip and then to left leg. It’s my understanding that’s a good sign that the pain won’t be forever. Still can’t pick up the Les Paul yet, I’ll have to try out the classical later . Again, thank you sir.

Hi Tim, thank you very much. Today, doing much better, so I didn’t hit up hospital, but tomorrow I’ll go to a pain clinic, maybe for some of them heat pads and whatever the doc recommends.

                  Again, thank you.

Hi Mike and I agree with you on them micro lessons. They are a nice path to follow with ones imagination. My back today is much better since the pain moved down to my left hip and left leg. Be going to a pain clinic tomorrow.

                    Again, thank you sir.

Oh man Pete, I wonder how you can play with such pain at all. Be careful and … a good improvement!

Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

                        Hi Wilfried
I, at the time could hardly hold the guitar let alone put it back on the stand. I got to the doctor the other day and it was easily discovered that I have the problem with the Sciatica Nerve. Its a condition that affects us when we at this age. The pain in the back is about 80% better with meds, but maybe you know this nerve runs from the back to the big toe, as I understand it. Right now, the pain moves up and down from the back to my left ankle. I often lose my balance when walking and the left leg collapses. Scary stuff. Anyway, I’m hanging in here and I know at least can hold that new les paul i recently bought, so I’m improving with the pain, but… wow, it can be a nightmare at times.

OK, thanks again for your kind thoughts.
