        If any of you are interested in playing jazzy or swing blues, or just learning about playing the changes, I ran across a six part series of videos on YouTube by David Hamburger. I have only watched the first two, where he discusses what he calls the “swing scale”, and how to use it over a blues. I first ran across this in some lesson materials by Duke Robillard, where he calls it the “composite blues scale”. I know Brian uses it in some of his lessons where he refers to overlapping major and minor pentatonic boxes.
