Here’s a link for us Reaper users.

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Thanks Pete! I have been using Reaper for just a few days and love it! See my thread on it. I posted a re-mix of a song just to learn it. I guess you know there are a bunch of videos that appear to be “new” on the web site for Reaper??

Don't practice till you get it right, practice till you can't get it wrong.

Here’s a newer link I think, well, I found out about it today.

Not sure why the whole play list doesn’t show up , but there are over 10 videos to watch on this series.

The DAW I am also planning to use now. I am having very little fun with it so far, but hope that is going to change after watching some of the videos you suggested. Thanks guys!

Well, you are in the right place for answers. If you watch the beginner how to use videos, you are well on your way. I can tell you right now that the power this DAW has, I can’t remember every little detail and always go to the video page. Kenny puts out a new video almost once a week, most of the time too. I subscribed to his YouTube channel. (You can find it on the Reaper Video page) Any questions, don’t hesitate to ask..

Sorry guys I made a mistake with my first post. It’s been changed on this post. Its mp4 to mp3 format into Media in Reaper. I misprint (mp4 to mp4) wow, I should reread my post before posting.

I have offten wondered why there if no pre-view or review button option before posting on a thread or starting a thread..It is that easy to make errors when writing on forums.

I’ve been watching several tutorials on Reaper and plan to make that my “back-up” DAW.
I’d used it briefly about eight years ago then switched to Cubase 5 when a friend generously supplied me with all the needed software and expertise to learn Cubase so we could work on audio files across the miles.

Sometimes it can be REALLY CHALLENGING!
But by now I’m comfortable with Cubase.

Anybody else using Cubase and willing to discuss some “How-to” items Im still struggling with???

                                Groove Agent?
                                Beat Designer?

                                Regards,
                                Marie
