Hi Ruediger, I think the repeating lick in this one definitely qualifies as a hook. It makes the piece recognizable and gets your toes tapping.

I thought it was a good hook Ruediger. Very old school and authentic blues.

Had all the hallmarks of a good hook to me.
Repeatedly and a sound the listener can easily relate with a grounding in the blues. That’s a fine submission Ruediger. 👍

Back to basics, but honestly transposing a lick like this is textbook hook. Bravo! Just loved the groove and call/response conversation on this.

Yeah man, that works. Lots of repetition makes it memorable and enjoyable to listen to the call and response.
