Another from the archives, so to speak, and great fun to play.
If you’re looking to improve your slides and in time to the rhythm, I can’t recommend this EP enough. I’ve noticed a considerable improvement in mine while working through this one!

Never seen that lesson before, I’ll check it out. Well executed and great sounding slide technique.
Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

You nailed another one, WPB. Great tone and the slides are fluid and smooth. Timing is so important, and yours is spot-on.

Some pretty cool stuff from 2015. You have me going back and re-learning some of these lessons which is really good reinforcement. Thanks for sharing!

I also never heard this lesson, so thanks for sharing it with such a flawless and enjoyable rendition! Yes, just inspired to grab my guitar and give it a try! Great job, with an impeccable timing in your sliding chords!

It seems like that lesson has slipped away from many of us!
Your demonstration is superb and very inspiring, wpb. Love the intro and even though you pretty much mastered those slides and made them look easy, I can see how them being consistently so perfect could be a challenge! Such a nice fretboard to look at as well on your tele 😉🎸JoLa

A very impressive performance from you there, WPB – those slides require precision, and you demonstrated that perfectly! A great listen all round. – Mark 👍🎶😎

WPB-greate choice of lesson
And per usual played flawlessly… you always seem to generate magnificent tone. Curious to know how you record yourself? Are you playing straight into an amp an mic’ing yourself or?Thanks for sharing,
John

Hey John – thanks for asking. Most of my videos have details of how I created the tone in the description so I have a reference point should I ever want to recreate that sound. Most of mine are through a real amp with mic and this video says:
“Guitar tone created with Boss Super OverDrive SD-1 and Behringer DR600 Digital Reverb into Harley Benton Tube15 amp head played through a VOX BC112 cabinet and recorded using Behringer B906 mic. Compression, EQ chorus and reverb applied within “Reaper” DAW.”
Hope that helps
