Here is the breakdown of the Freddie King Shuffle I posted in showcase your playing forum. I think I figured out a way to post chord diagrams in the video. Let me know if it helps.

Really good Barry. The chord chart really helped too.

Glad you enjoyed it. I have a bunch of these rhythms tucked away. I made videos for a band mates son at one time when he was wanting to learn guitar that I was sending him. I am going through some of that material and brushing up on it and making new videos not specifically directed at him. I can play the stuff but teaching is a different skill but I believe being able to explain other correctly helps me learn as well.

Nice lesson. Love this style of shuffle blues.
And also, glad to see another Grez owner here at AM! I’ve got a Mendocino too.

I am working on some more. It is a great way to keep me focused on improving since I am currently not in a band. I love my Grez – it is a fun guitar to play and it is one of my three favorite guitars that I own. The others being a thin line telecaster and an ES-5.

Great concept Barry, to bring these playing styles to the table and for us to try and emulate these players like Freddie King and this shuffle. Do like that awesome thumbnail . I have tabbed out the arrangement the best I can for the shuffle trying to work out where your fingers are going. (Although there was a short lead part which was at the end.) I have attached it for you to check if I got the tabbing right as I would like to play it correctly as you played it. Appreciated the chords onscreen. I know for myself complementing tutorials with some tabbing is helpful for learning the material, that’s why Active Melody works so well for me. Keep up the good work you have a lot to offer!
