Nice to see you blending different techniques, it’s working well. I liked the trills, they kept it playful. Well done Jenny!

Who would have thought it was possible to tickle such beautiful sounds from a rock axe? I very much enjoyed this Jennifer!

I’m impressed you chose pattern 3 as there is so much potential there that many steer away from because of those awkward spacings on the B and G strings. You showed what can be done with slides and bends there which aren’t so available elsewhere. Really done 👍

This was wonderful Jenny. Bends, prebends, slides, trills, all of it. And it was a nice bluesy melody too.

Nicely done Jenny
You settle in real well with this and it gets hot and sultry. Love the turn around at 1:27.
Groovy trills as well.John

Good demonstration of multiple techniques Jenny, pre-bend, trill, hammer on, and sliding to a note. Excellent use of this position. Which lesson jam track did you use, BTW? I am curious and did not recognize it easily. Thanks for the submission.

EP219 in the key of E (I have to admit I didn’t go searching, I just picked a key from the lesson he directed us to)

That was a good fretboard exploration and nicely played, Jenny! I felt some melodies were getting formed in there, the bends were so cool 😎

I can see how deliberate you are in your playing. This will pay big dividends in the future when you become more fluent on the fretboard.. As it is, you seem to have a good idea of what sounds right and is fitting with the backing track. Well done!

Your progress is so inspiring Jenny! Well done not only for what you’ve played but also for how you’ve played it! Congrats!

Jenny, I agree with Paul that your ear is guiding you pretty well to pick some appropriate notes within the pattern. Great exploration of expressive technique.
Keep working on this fret board knowledge and try to hook up pattern 3 with a pattern above or below to get some more expression with bends and slides.

Some tasty licks in there, Jenny! Sounding very bluesy. I like these thrills at 3:19 to 3:22.
Great progress on the pentatonics.
Greetings to the UK.
