Nice rendition Werner – I liked the fills that weren’t in the Shadows’ version that I know. Your backing track was quite impressive, too.

Unfortunately, I recognized the melody all too well. I also noted all those nice fills in between the original melody. Great tone, also, Werner.

Ah, this brought me back to my days as a teenager with my neighbor’s borrowed Strat. I got an additional kick out of seeing you grin while doing the little scratchy part on the Low-E. You bribed your live audience, so the barking doesn’t count, but the playing gets an A+.

That used to be a favorite with me and all my old surf buddies back in the days when long boards were the only kind of surfboards available. Well played, and nice job on the recording and video!

Thanks for your hint regarding Emerald guitars. I immediately wanted to book a factory tour – those guitars really do look great! Alas, the factory was too far to the south for our trip through Ireland. We only travelled in the south.
But I will return – starting my trip in Galway and going North from there.

Very recognisable sounds great , one of the first tunes I got to grips with back in the day , I like the interplay you have created almost answering the main lead ,you put your own stamp on this one .
