        Several months ago, I pieced together a playlist of Dickey’s instrumentals, starting with the original versions but expanded to the various live versions
        The influence of Western Swing on Dickey brought harmony guitar parts to rock & roll that has influenced players not only in rock but also country, hard rock and metal.

            To the point about Western swing, I read once they wanted their guitars to sound as smooth as clarinets. Very cool.
