Hi all,
I heard Peter, Paul and Mary’s live version of “Where Have all the Flowrrs Gone” and ot really moved me… the lyrics very relevant today!
So I have played a backing finger-picking version and then a lead over it… excuse the quality…. still don’t know how to do this really from a technical viewpoint!
Hope you like it! I would love to have a vocalist sing over it!

Very pretty, Rich. I thought this post might be about the Foo Fighters. I found out my moderator powers don’t extend to editing post titles.

The fingerpicking pattern backs your melody lead perfectly here Rich. Great choice of music and delicately played. All the best! 🥸🎸🥸

Thanks Charjo, Ken, Ivan, John, David, Garry and Bob, for listening and for your wonderful comments!
I am really enjoying my new project: playing backing chords for a song, and then working out the lead to play over it. More ideas forming in my head!
Charjo! Foo Fighters! Just noticed the title! Would be interesting to play a Foo Fighters’ version of this song, using power chords! 😁

Rich- I can’t view this now as I am at work, but this was my father’s favorite song. I can’t wait to watch and listen.
