        Greetings everyonw~
Despite having my grade 8 in violin and a number of years of experience, I decided to go through the Starting Courses that Brian set up for us. I can highly recommend taking the time to do it. Although it was all familiar to me, it refocused my thinking to the guitar and “repackaged” my knowledge in a way that it made sense. For instance, I had a “lightbulb” momement when I figured out that with the “E” shape of the CAGED pattern, the chord name was the note on the “E” string and with the “A” shape, the chord name was on the “A” string. Now I know there are others out there thinking that I should already know that, but you’re talking to a guy who gets hit in the head with pucks a lot!
Anyway, I just wanted to encourage people to, no matter how good a player you are, go through the Essential Theory and CAGED lessons since you can always learn something or be reminded of something you hadn’t considered for a while.
I’m looking forward to going through the Lead Guitar lessons!
Thanks Brian for setting up those courses!
        Happy picking everyone!

          Hey Brad,
I’ve been hit in the head a few times myself. I just noticed all the courses have been arranged with a button that says Start Here!
