This piece requires a derby hat and it still needs some work. It’s difficult to play anything entirely without a slide on this guitar. It has a fairly high nut and I am sure the neck has more bow than it should. But it’s fun and that is all that really matters.

              Nice playing Roger!
That guitar seems very beautiful and my suggestion is that next time you can record the video in a way that we can better see that beauty.
And ofc as usual that is a very nice hat! 😉

Well played Roger. That’s one of my favorite lessons, and is in my permanent repertoire.

Sounds great and you played with drive. Love the guitar. Is it a National?

It’s a Gretsch. It was very inexpensive but it sounds great.

Thankyou. I tried using the cam on my laptop this time. Usually I use my phone. The laptop is easier to use but my phone does better on both video and audio.

Thankyou. I think it will sound better once I am able to raise the tempo by about 20 bpm. It’s perfect sit on my patio and play music.
