Coyne’s book “The Talent Code”, chapter 1, he covers a phenomenon called “deep practice” and why it not only built a world soccer power in Brazil (and now the U.S. women’s team), but also how it shows how perseverance and making mistakes can make you a better guitar player and can trump so-called “talent”.
