Zoom has discontinued the Zoom Q2n Zoom Handy Video Recorder and there are some good deals to be found.
This unit records in stereo, has built in X-Y mics and is specifically designed for musicians. For live recordings, it will handle up to 120 dB. With USB, you can transfer the video to PC perfect for monthly video challenge submissions; also has a HDMI port to watch your video on a TV
There is a video on this page of the features and this is the lowest price that I’ve found

I’d been wanting a good video recorder and the Zoom really fits the bill. Many things other than music that I want to record
2 hrs recording on AA Alkaline batteries or 3 hrs on rechargeable Ni-MH batteries – works of me
Some years ago I bought a Zoom Recorder R24. The Handling is o.k., but the sound quality very poor.
Now I produce my Videos with my small Canon Powershot camera G7X with excellent pictures and a good Sound.
