It was a ‘eureka’ day today as I have discovered how to upload videos recorded in ‘iRig Recorder’ to YouTube on an iPad.
Previously I had to transfer the file onto a desktop prior to uploading to YouTube but this process is now not required. If anyone is interested in the process, let me know.Richard

I know some members use iRig Recorder and we’re transferring files to Desktops in order to upload to YouTube, but I’m not sure who they were, but for those interested in the more direct process using iPad only, this is it:-
1) Record video in ‘iRig Recorder’ using iPad
2) Select ‘action’ icon and save file to Video(M4A Audio)
3) On the export screen, select ‘Open In’ and select ‘Save Video’
4) This option always saves the video to ‘Photos’
5) Go to your YouTube Account & select the ‘capture video’ icon
6) Select the required video clip in ‘Photos’ and then select ‘Next’
7) Complete the Title and Public details
8) Select ‘Upload’
The selected video will then render in YouTube, from there you can post the video ‘link’ direct into Active Melody.Richard

Very cool process. But something comes to my mind: What if you want to save the videos – as I do – on my computer, all neatly organized by year? You still have to get them from iPad (or iPhone, in my case) to computer. I do that by using Airdrop, which sends them in a few seconds to my MacBook. So one way I do it is like this:
(1) Record video on iPhone (using an external mic like Shure MV-88 for acoustics, or iRig adapter for direct input)
(2) Select video in Photos, click the Send icon, click the Airdrop icon
(3) Open Youtube upload page on MacBook
(4) Drag and drop video from Downloads folder onto upload page. Most people are unaware of this, but you can also edit the videos in the Photos app right on the iPhone. So you can easily cut off the bit in the beginning and end of the video where are you are getting set up.

Hi Steve, A simple process from mobile devices to Desktop is via Dropbox, iCloud or Google Drive depending on your platforms.
