I needed a blue guitar, so I bought one. This is new 2018 model Fender Telecaster, made in Mexico, Player Series. Color: Tidepool

        I’m practicing EP256.

Well, if that’s no reason !!!
Whatever Larry, you’ve done a great job on the lead guitar. Your runs on the fingerboard will always be harmonious.
Great job. Also a great sound.
Oh yes, do you have all the colors you need now?

Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

            Larry,
I like your style! Yep, I need a blue one too….and maybe some other colors….good enough reason…why not. Love it!
Great tone on that tele and playing. One of your best postings and if that’s just practice then look out!

I need a blue guitar, too. And a Tele. From what I am hearing a Tidepool blue Fender T Player series may be just right. Nicely played, Larry, and congrats to the new guitar!

Haha Larry, I needed so I bought, too funny. Beautiful guitar! And sounding really good, you’ve always had the speed thing down but now your timing is very good and you’ve added a nice vibrato. Great playing.

Colour requirement is a totally legitimate reason for a new guitar! Good for you, Larry. Great playing and the tele really sounded terrific.

Nicely played on your lovely new guitar. That’s the very lesson I’m working on at the moment. The fast licks are giving me grief, so I’m just playing those troublesome licks over and over trying to get ever faster. I think they’re getting about 0.1% faster every day, so I should have it down in another year or so.

Larry, that sounded really great, you are into it deep now, where you have the pauses and everything. Your tone on there is excellent; I wish I could get my Tele to sound like that.

Even if you were to stick with blue, you’re entitled to a few more shades of blue.

Billy–I recorded the same way I always do (I phone with iRigMic). Except this time I did use my Boss Katana amp (instead of the Blackstar Fly amp I usually use). On the Katana amp here, I used the Crunch channel with a little delay and reverb.
