Still, these guys have been at the top of the British music scene for over 20 years and for good reason – they are an awesome band.

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing these guys live and Kelly Jones (singer) has an outstanding rock voice and killer guitar chops.

Not sure how much of a noise they have made stateside.

I will confess that I have not heard of this band. My only excuse is my generation is a bit older perhaps. As always, of course, you seem to do great justice to the music with excellent instrumentals 🎶

Learning songs is your superpower and I am not sure how you do it exactly . Is it just by listening and playing along?

Yeah they are one of the great underrated British bands that deserve to be way bigger than they are.

It’s more often a YT tutorial and the songs I do are pretty simple so it’s really not that hard tbh.

This one only had 5 open chords that I already knew for the entire song and not much lead work.

Listened again Liam and ,I have to say, I love that Gibson SG sound. How does that guitar compare with your Les Paul?

Yeah I love my SG and I’d say the P90s have a bit of a more mellow bite to the LP.

SG is a Gibson standard so the build quality and playability is a step up from the LP which is a tribute model…..

Did you see them recently? I think they’re touring at the moment. My son’s partner saw them in Wales a month or so ago and said they were outstanding.

Awesome work Liam. You have such a knack to grasp songs and all their parts and then construct them all together. Understanding how to play each part makes you the band. You could easily go and find yourself a band and then play what part you want rather than be the band.
