I’m a lucky guy. My wife want’s to offer me another guitar soon (medium price) and as I have a Strat’s looking guitar already, I’d like to get a Gibson style this time, but I’m getting stuck with 3 guitars:
1 : TOKAI SG 43 CHERRY LTD EDITION (Gibson SG copy)
2 : EPIHON G400 CHERRY (Gibson SG copy)
3 : WASHBURN Idol WI64.
Some buddies told me that Tokay was far better than Epiphon but I can say if it’s true.
Washburn seems to be the best, but I’m not sure.
If a “guitar pro” could help me, it would be fine.
thank’s
Regards
Patrick
Hey psour given the choice of the three I’d go with the Epiphone G400 – I’ve always been partial to Epiphone though… They make some great guitars for the price. If you wanted to kick in an extra $200 you could get an actual Gibson SG (the special faded edition) – I have one of them and it’s a great playing / sounding guitar.
+1…..although those Tokia’s are nice guitars.
I’ve got 2 Epi LP’s. Upgraded pups in them and love em.
Some say the SG style takes a little getting used to the “unbalanced” feeling. No personal experience.
I just purchased a Fender strat…..I’ll comment you may find the LP style a little different in playability.
A strat is much easier to “play” than the LP. (to me anyway)
Thank’s for your help 🙂
In fact I went to my fave guitar shop an tried those 3 guitars, and …. I fell in love with a SQUIER Classic Vibe Telecaster Custom.
She is really beautifull and her sound is terrific.
I’m in love 🙂
