Allman Brothers fans will recognize my subject line as Duane introduction of their version of Stormy Monday

I finally took time to listen to their live album Live From A&R Studios that is available on You Tube. It has the same songs as Live At The Fillmore album but the improv and energy of this set is very different and well worth the time to listen to.

Gregg’s vocals was very impassioned as was Duane & Dickey’s playing. Dickey’s leads has a bit more fire to them than the Fillmore release and you can tell that Duane was pumped for this performance. As always, the original band sounded great
