We have had our first ActiveMelody Zoom Meetuo

Hi my AM friends,
We have had a wonderful first Zoom Meetup yesterday. It has lasted more than four hours and in total 27 AM members showed up. And we were very delighted that Brian had time to pop in and we talked about “guitars and everything”. In the end he stayed 1 and half hour with us.
But also it was fantastic to meet all of you. I think we had a lot of fun together.
I’m planning to do the next meetup at the end of March. I will make an announcement on the forum.
I have sent a link of the recording of the meetup to all the attendees I can contact directly.
Only four of them (Michael M, Fred, Kevin H., Werner) I can not reach directly. Please send me a friendship request, if you are interested to have the link. So I can send you a PM.

Congratulations, Manfred, that’s a tremendous job making the forum an even better place. That must be so much work contacting each member individually with a link. What about putting the link just once in the forum a few days ahead. I can make the post a “sticky” in the announcements section. You could post a few reminders in the lead up.

Thanks, John, also for the good suggestion. I think we can and will proceed that way in the future.
Because of the link for the recording, we decided not to publish it on the forum, because the forum posts are too public. Everybody, who attended the meetup should get the link. I have created an email list of all those who are interested in participating regularly. So it’s not much work to send it. And this way it is easier for me to stay in direct contact.

I didn’t make the linkup – timing in Australia was 4am to 7am and I had an early commitment that day anyway. I’m only a few months into membership and would appreciate receiving the link to the session for my education.

It certaianly was a wonderful time to get to chat with everyone on the “real-time” meet-up. Thank you again Manfred.
I did get to replay the Meet-Up recording from your link while taking a break from writing and engaged in housekeeping chores. It was great to see the conversations with Brian and other folks before I arrived.
