When I’m watching the video of a lesson, a box labeled “More Videos” appears in the lower left corner of the screen. When I pause the video I’m watching this box is replaced with a much larger box of other suggested videos to watch. The problem is that this much larger box blocks out much of the original video I’m watching. It usually blocks something I want to see in the video when I pause it. I’ve attached a screen shot below. This happens regardless of whether I’m using Firefox, Chrome or Safari. I wanted to ask whether any one else has seen this and if there is a way to disable it from appearing. Thanks.

          Hi Ralph,

It’s a Youtube thing. You can just close it by pressing the X or you can try to turn off video suggestions on your Youtube account. This is what Google suggested:

Open the YouTube app and tap on the user silhouette near the top right. Make sure you see your profile here, otherwise you’ll need to log in. Step 2: Tap the overflow menu in the top right corner and head to Settings > Notifications. Step 3: Toggle the switch next to Recommended videos.

See if that works for you.

That did it! After making the changes in settings, I had to log off / log on in Google for them to take effect. Thanks for the tip!

Yep, what miss active melody says. Just turn it off in your youtube settings.
