Slash is a stand up guy. I thought this was great story and wanted to share.

Slash is really a down to earth dude, that part is really true.

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

I saw this once before and thought it’s pretty cool. I really like joe perry, saw aerosmith live last year and was blown away by perry. He is a bit of an underated guitar player i think. I am sure a lot of people in the buisness recognize him as a great player, but the average fan just thinks he is the guitar player for aerosmith. He has a very extensive blues background from what i have read. Good stuff Bryce.

Brad Whitford, Perry’s cohort in Aerosmith is underrated as well. So underrated in fact, that Perry gets the credit for his playing.

Great video – thanks for sharing Bryce. I’ve always been a big fan of Slash (and Joe), but that makes me like the guy even more.
