If this works without taking too long for the page to come together, I’ll put all of them in a single post next month. Your thoughts are more than welcome, they’re going to decide what I use next time.

          Hi Don,

The page did take some time to load on my end – but still under a minute – but once they are all loaded it’s all good and easy to play them one by one if desired.
I think it is actually pretty cool to have them all on one page 🙂

Loading issues here too Don, infact it caused issues with other pages I had opened at the same time(old PC) and caused my pc to crash.
Archive the monthly responses with premium members having access to the archive and just leave your consolidated 4 or 5 posts on the forum, If anyone wants a specific response then they just download it from the archive( which obviously you can link to), Saves all those dead threads after the monthly challenges ( what was it this month 70+)have been posted and replied to clogging up the other forums.

It loaded in about 3 seconds for me. And I live in New Zealand, so that data has to go 3000 miles across America, then 9000 miles through a submarine cable to Australia, then 1500 miles through a submarine cable to New Zealand.

You’re not downloading the whole video file for each, only a link which displays as a thumbnail. The only significant data comes from the pixels in the thumbnail. So maybe you could just make a list of the links minus the thumbnails. Lets see if this works:

Yep, that works like a charm and requires almost no data to be downloaded. Plus it’s faster and easier to scroll down the list and find what you’re looking for.

Loaded reasonably fast but I am using a new iPad. I know from experience that older machines would struggle to load that amount in one go.

                    Thanks All!

Steve’s solution would speed it up, if we don’t mind losing the thumbnails. We still have a little time to think about it, but I’m happy to follow through on whatever we decide is best.

Have a great night (or day)!

Hi Don takes about 15 seconds from click to loaded that is pretty good for such a lot of data in my book. But supose you put it into 2 file so long as it was say under one hundred entries that would seem to be a bit of future proofing. JohnStrat

very convenient to have all in one page.

I just downloaded this page again to double check the download time, and this time it took 5 seconds. When I checked the file size of this whole page, including the thumbnails and our comments up to now, it was only 129 Kb. That is, 0.13 Mb. That’s incredibly tiny by modern standards. So I’d say either way would work fine, but certainly no need to split it up into multiple posts.

So on my phone it took 15 seconds to load the page, another 10 seconds before it went to the last reply and another 10 seconds before i could write this reply.
Now in all honesty this doesnt happen on any other forum i use while on my phone, i can sit and watch motor racing with no glitches or buffering for more than an hour.
Poor or slow data base on which this forum is built?.

Thank you again, everyone! It’s decided. Next month we’ll have one large post, and if we discover a drawback to that, I can always separate them later on. When I get to a computer, I’m going to delete this post.
