Yes, you can buy many kinds of Chinese guitars from Temu (although Americans may find much higher prices now due to tariffs). I was looking at an all-bamboo guitar, and then I saw this Seagull guitar for cheap ($179 NZ is maybe just over $100 US). I never knew that Seagull guitars were made in China, I thought to myself.
Oh wait, it’s a fake Seagull guitar described as a “Seagulls” guitar. It looks like the back is carbon fiber or maybe just plain fiberglass, then they’ve married a gnarly wood top onto it. Some of their other offerings look a lot more professionally made. I wonder if any of our AM community has ever bought a guitar from Temu?

Never bought anything off Temu Steve but you are right about tariffs here in the US. The price of a Canadian guitar I was interested in went from $600 to $915 almost overnight!

There have been a lot of warnings about dealing with Temu – people who have been hacked and personal info stolen privacy invaded, etc., that its supposed to a front for the ______
I would suggest that caution be exercised and do your research before entering any personal info on their website. They may be totally legit but best to look before you leap

Last December I purchased a Recording King RO-342 (000-42), List for $1099.00, Recording King just stopped making guitars 2 weeks ago , but before they closed shopping that guitar increased to $1399. I actually only paid $872.00 with a 15% coupon.
