Thought this might be a fun post. I love learning Brian’s lessons and am amazed by the variety of genres and how his style and tone is always on point.
My memory isn’t geared to remembering the Episode numbers of his songs and I struggled with how to recall which was which when I wanted to play. I decided to give my favorites a name and it has worked great. I know can immediately recall the tune by the name I gave it. Some of the names I’ve used are;
Sweet Tea
Strawberry Jam
Blueberry Blues
Biscuits and Gravy (obviously country style)
Stormy Blue…
and the list goes on. It works for me!
Cheers!
I like this. Ingenious idea! I have named a few as I modified them and made them my own.
One title that comes to mind is Whiskey and Rye. More to come.

Sounds like a great idea – but how do you attach the names?
I write it on the pdf and put them all in a musician notebook. I wish I could change them in the program, but if I copy the link and put it on the homepage of my computer or mobile phone, I can change the name there.
Making me hungry! 😂
Love B&G
I write the numbers like this:
268 – Key of E 2 /4 74 75(The( first few notes of the song.
312 – (B string) 5 7 (E string) 5 (B string) /10 (E string) 8
