My wife and I love Oxfordshire. Two years ago we flew from New Zealand to England (first visit to England) and hired a car and went straight to Oxfordshire. We spent several weeks there, and both agreed that it still wasn’t enough time to see and enjoy everything. I guess Henley-on-Thames was our favorite place, especially since preparations for the annual rowing event were happening.

Glad you enjoyed the visit Steve, together with Ascot and Wimbledon, Henley Regatta is an annual event that figures highly on the UK’s Social Calendar. A great place to be at that time of year on the river Thames.

I live in South Oxfordshire/Berkhire just north of Reading on the way to Oxford. It would be great to jam out with somebody sometime. Yes. Henley is really close.
