I really like this Quist jam track in Dm. I thought it a good one to practice adding some spacing between phrases, (which is always a struggle for me) as well as some chord tones. I’m still building my library of phrases and licks and find that I tend to repeat myself a bit more than I’d like but overall really enjoyed messing around with this one.

Really nice Bob! Minor key blues is a favorite of mine. Repetition is a good thing. You will continue to expand your vocab and tweek those phrases that are in the library.

Excellent rendition Bob! I found your phrasing very good and enjoyable to listen to, with very nice rhythm and melody variations. Of course there is always space to improve and develop a larger vocabulary, like for all of us and even for pro players, but you’re on the right path.

Looking good Bob. The collection of phrases will just keep getting better and better.

Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

Fantastic to keep building that lick box of tricks Bob. Sounding great on your Epiphone Les Paul. All the best! 😎🎸😎
