Since Richard recently posted about Snowy, I’ve been digging thru his videos. This is another sweet soulful tune

Here’s a decent playlist; someone has mixed some other artists with Snowy’s tunes but majority are his

Thanks Keith, Snowy’s guitar solos and accompaniment in Midnight Blues stands out for me in that he plays refreshing and unconventional licks throughout the song which comes as a welcome breath of fresh air.
I can also hear the connection between Snowy and David Gilmour’s guitar style.

I heard the same thing as far as the Humour influence and it made me wonder if Snowy had developed that prior to Gilmour hiring him

Good observation on him having an unconventional approach, it does get a little tiring to hear so many play in similar fashion.
SRV came on the scene and we had so many Stevie wannabes. I can pick those that are trying to emulate Clapton really quickly and for me, 1 Eric Clapton is enough (I’ve listened to him too much),

The list could go on and on but to hear someone like Snowy play the incredible music that he has released is really good

Thank you for this lead on Snowy White. I never heard of him before so I went to Youtube to listen to more, then immediately went to Amazon and put one of his CDs on my wishlist. (probably add a few more) This is my favorite style of the Blues, although I’m certain he can play other styles just as well. His playing is just beautiful. Thanks again.
