  Johnny Stacela is a relatively new name to music fans. Being a huge fan of Dickey Betts, I also follow his son Duane Betts; Johnny Stacela is a member of Duane’s band
  He is an exceptional lead and slide player
  
  Duane is coming in to his own as a player and song writer; sings we more of a twang than his Dad. You cane hear his Dad’s influence but Duane isn’t trying to copy him

  Sonny and Derek are my favorite contemporary slide players and those songs are a perfect display of their talent. My old guitar tech used to sit in with Duane a few years back. The Coach House in that vid is my go to place for live music.
