I was listening to Brian’s backing track for EP 129 (Key to the Highway) and really likes the simplicity of the drum track: just a simple shuffle emphasizing the two and four. I have purchased many backing tracks and they are all too fancy for practicing the blues. So my question is: where can I get a nice simple blues drum track, or alternatively, is there a straightforward way to make one?

Roberto, thanks for the link. All free too!
The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Thanks to both of you! The MP3 one is new to me. They’re too perfect, but it’s hard to complain at this price.
There are several sites that offer tools to convert videos to MP3s. I keep meaning to try one of them for stuff like the drum tracks. If anyone is interested, I will locate the link.

Thank you to Roberto, Deluxe Strat and Music-AMG! I was looking a track and knew it would be among these. In case anyone missed this post the first time, thought it was worthy to bounce back into the conversation.
