I struggled with this challenge. But under time pressure, I managed to get something done yesterday and today.
But I would also like to take the chance to introduce you to our “new” family member, an Emerald x7 with a HiVibe system — carbon fiber with electronic refinements. I admit that this falls under the category of “The bigger the boys… the bigger the toys.”
–> Challenge starts at 2:45
Thank you for watching.

Congrats on your new guitar , which has some clever features, especially with the backing track . And to be able to use it unplugged.
Nice up beat lead fits the track perfectly , has a summertime feel to it .Martin

Hi Werner, I’m glad you could make it to this month’s challenge. And what an entry! I love those gear introductions and this one is indeed very interesting. It’s amazing, what guitars can do today. The features on the (beautiful) Emerald are useful, too. Nice playing (off the cuff?) playing, too, Werner. #
Greetings to you, your camerawoman and your four-legged good-luck charm! -

Totally cool! I love your passion for the ‘gear’. And, nicely played as well. You created a nice Western Swing vibe. Love the pup. Always fun to watch/listen to your submissions.John

Hey Werner, I’m sorry you showed me your new guitar, because now I really want one. I have one of the early carbon fiber guitars made by Journey, but yours is definitely more advanced. Mine has a simple pickup, but it doesn’t even have a volume control. However, it sounds pretty good just played as an acoustic, especially on the bass notes. Also the finish on yours is quite beautiful, whereas mine just looks like carbon fiber. Oh, and your playing was excellent!

I enjoyed this whole presentation, Werner 🙂
The “mysterious Werner style” sounds upbeat and dance-able, very well played! Thanks for the showcase, the carbon fiber guitar looks perfect for travel, it looks great, and has a great sound. I’m sure it can very versatile as well. I like the neck on it, it looks comfortable.
We used to have a few members doing gear breakdowns on a regular basis, Marty was one of them. I miss those, always learned something new.

Amazing how technology keeps on evolving even on a guitar. Nice little kind of Django tune and well played, suits the new guitar well.
