I opened with the turnaround showed in ML11, then made a delta blues chorus out of ML6 and merged it into LEG007 using the ML7 turnaround. Fun challenge. Need to think of a good song to use with this, because this stuff is better with some singing. Hope you like.

Duffy,
All of your posts have been good but I REALLY liked this one. It belongs on an “Easy Listening” radio station. I’m not a songwriter but I agree it would be good with a song. I think Scott M is a songwriter, maybe he can help.
Glad you posted Duffy. I just thought this one was a beautiful combination of your knowledge of Theory blended with the time you have spent in the woodshed practicing.
Thanks for posting,
Gene

Very nice Duffy, I really like the soft tone with the complex fingerstyle. The timing seemed right on throughout. – Bret

Duffy — I can’t say that I’m familiar with all of these lessons, but that all sure fit together seamlessly. Everything flowed so nicely and your playing was flawless. Good to see you on the acoustic again.

Hi Duffy, that was superb, I really liked your understated and elegant way of playing that. It was really a pleasure to hear, reminds me of Jim Hall’s touch and sound on the Jimmy Giuffre Three records (on his first chorus, then he’d do the variations).

Duffy, anyway; the blues have arrived wonderfully. Yes, it was a pleasure to listen to you. You have transported the required groove to 100%. Very great and of course blues matching sound.
WilfriedPlay guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
I made a labeling mistake. It’s Leg006 not 007.

Just great Duffy, my very favourite style of Delta acoustic blues and you showed us just how it should be played.

Hey Duffy….
I really liked what you did there….you laid down some no-nonsense Delta Blues in such a way as to say….”here it is…now pay attention!!” Steady as a drum……Well done, Duffy….You’ve got this.

Duffy, That was absolutely splendid finger style playing! The laxed fingerboard movement for the slow tempo..helps resolve many the hammer-ons and slides etc.not necessarily a good habit for faster tempos but it certainly helps the feel with these slower tempos! great five star challenge picks too!, cheers!
