Hi, woulds someone please help me with the ideal settings on a Roland Cube 30 amp with a fender Strat Delux attached, to get a rock and roll/blues sound.

Looking forward to hearing from you, thanking you in advance for your help.

        Kind Regards

        Kim

          Hi Kim,
I think the Amp has a 6.5 ” speaker. So he should be weak in the Bass. So are the middle tones in the foreground. For an E-guitar it will be difficult, I think. Because you have to try it out. I’m sorry, I can not give Tip.

Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

            Hi Kim

There is a lot of stuff on utube regarding the Roland cube. You might get some answers there.

I started on the Roland micro cube set on the Black Panel. The guitar was a Fender Squire m80 with humbucker pickups. I got the exact sound I was after with the little amp cranked right up.

I was so pleased with it I bought the 40watt version but have struggled to get the sound I want. I wanted the 40watt because I was playing at a few venues and needed the extra volume. Unfortunately I could not get the same sound as the micro cube.

I still use the amp but only on the clean channel.

As I said at the start there is some very good stuff on utube. So I would suggest you watch some of that and then experiment.

            Good Luck Alan
