Rick passed away yesterday; he’d played with Johnny & Edgar Winter, Alice Cooper, even Weird Al
One of those players that never quite recd the recognition that he deserved
He definitely did not receive the recognition he deserved. I saw him in concert with Johnny and Edgar Winters. Who can forget about Rock and Roll Hootchie Koo and My Girl Sloopy?

Thanks for posting. Very interesting. 😎🎸😎
Hey Keith,
I saw a tiny clip in today’s paper about Rick passing. The McCoy’s “Hang on Sloopy” hit #1 when he was 17 and every garage band played it. (mine too) He had one heck of a career as a guitarist, singer and producer as you mentioned. Even in Ringo’s All Star Band.

Always like him a lot. Really brings me back.
Hey Keith I left you a message!
Hey Tom
Sorry but I haven’t been online much recently. Too many irons in the fire
I’ll take a look and get back to you this weekend
