I remember Kiss as mainly appealing to teenage boys, but they did have some good music. My brother-in-law was like a stage hand for them for a while, and he said they were all good guys. What a pain to have to put on all that make-up and those amazing outfits day after day.
I’m not sure what’s happening in the world of music in America, my former home country. I lived there thru the 60s and part of the 70s when the Viet Nam War spawned countless protest songs by all kinds of musicians. I would say those songs contributed quite a lot to the mindset of at least the younger people, but I don’t see that happening now days. What I mainly hear coming out of America is hip hop and rap, which to me sounds like people just randomly complaining about life in general.

I very much agree with you about the complaining here in America….I’m limited what I can say because of the ban on talking politics but…
There is an ideology (and it’s not D or R) that pushes “Look at what they have”, “Look at what you don’t have” and “Look at what they won’t give you or make a way for you get what they have”
That ideology has very much taken root here in the US over the past 35-40 but especially in the past 20 yearsThink about your studies of history, think of an individual with the initials KM, think of the events in a large European country that took place from 1912-1919.
