Ace Frehley has canceled the remainder of helis 2025 tour dates due to injuries that he suffered during a fall it’s further reported that he has weakness on his left side butnthat no blood clots have been found

KISS isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but they did play a huge role in the music scene of our era.
Those of you who pray, say a special word for Ace…

Many that we’ve listened over the years has passed on and those that are left are slowing down
Dave Mason one of the founders.of Traffic has canceled his 2025 tour dates due to his health. Dave just released another studio album and Joe Bonamassa is on a couple of the songs – Dear Mr Fantasy being one of those songs
Clapton was spotted in an airport being pushed in a wheelchair by one of his daughters
Fortunately, Robin Trower, now 80, after canceling many of us 2024 dates, had a successful medical procedure and has had 3 tours of the US in 2025
Keith Richards….how is that guy still alive? All of the drugs and heavy smoking…plus he snorted some his Dad’s ashes – true story

I remember Kiss as mainly appealing to teenage boys, but they did have some good music. My brother-in-law was like a stage hand for them for a while, and he said they were all good guys. What a pain to have to put on all that make-up and those amazing outfits day after day.

I’m not sure what’s happening in the world of music in America, my former home country. I lived there thru the 60s and part of the 70s when the Viet Nam War spawned countless protest songs by all kinds of musicians. I would say those songs contributed quite a lot to the mindset of at least the younger people, but I don’t see that happening now days. What I mainly hear coming out of America is hip hop and rap, which to me sounds like people just randomly complaining about life in general.

I very much agree with you about the complaining here in America….

I’m limited what I can say because of the ban on talking politics but…

There is an ideology (and it’s not D or R) that pushes “Look at what they have”, “Look at what you don’t have” and “Look at what they won’t give you or make a way for you get what they have”
That ideology has very much taken root here in the US over the past 35-40 but especially in the past 20 years

Think about your studies of history, think of an individual with the initials KM, think of the events in a large European country that took place from 1912-1919.

              This concludes today’s history lesson

Yesterday, Gene Simmons passed out behind the wheel in Malibu and crashed into a parked car. 🤷‍♂️We are all getting older I guess.

Hope Gene is OK, he’s a real stand up guy
