        1. I don’t know anything about these things, but I’d like to buy one.
        2. I need to buy it off of Amazon.
        3. Need something that is not expensive but will do the job.
        4. I have no idea what that sell for, but I’d like to limit my budget around USD of $ 125 dollars.

        thanks

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

I have several Loopers and my local guitar teacher is really good with a looper and he recommends a 2 button looper, if you can find a Boss RC-20XL used on line in your budget that is what he recommends and uses, they are discontinued and can only find them used. If I was just starting looping today with the same budget as you, I would try the Donner Circle Looper 2 in 1, it sells on Amazon for $99. I hope this helps. Good luck and have fun Looping, Bill

              Thanks Bill
Donner makes a good product. I bought the Jazz Telecaster a few years ago. They sold out very quickly. I just checked their site. It seems like they are not in stock at the moment.
I’ll check out that looper. I’ll let you know if I buy it today.

              Thanks

I went to Amazon Japan. Seems like it is not available in Japan.

I have a Legato looper pedal which is on Amazon for US $60 on Amazon. It is a 1 button looper so you hit the button to start and double hit it to stop recording.

If you want a 2 button looper (dedicated start and stop buttons which are a little easier to use) I’ve heard a lot of good things about the TC Electronic Ditto X2 looper which is US $140 on Amazon.

                      Thanks Joe.
I’ll check that one out. I’m looking for something that I can play and record and then play lead guitar over the rhythm track or whatever. Don’t know the first thing about loopers.
I’ll check that out today. As you know, I live in Japan and Japan Amazon may not have stuff available, but I can order Amazon America, but shipping charges are a bit expensive.

                      again, thanks

If you can pat your head and rub your stomach at the same time, buy a one button looper. If not, go for a 2-button looper.

I agree with Sunjamr Steve. I had no problem dealing with one button.

I can tell you the Legato pedal has a lot of perks like 10 memory positions for different loops and each one has unlimited (at least I haven’t found the limit) overdubs which means you can layer multiple pieces in each memory position.

I use it to record a chord progression, then add to that a rhythm of muted strums and taps, then add to that a base lead. Then I play it back and practice playing lead over it all.

I haven’t decided yet. So many exports ( copies ) from China. I’ll wait till after the holidays to purchase.

The good news I bought a Cats Eye by Tokai Japan acoustic. Its about 60 some years old. I can’t seem to post a picture due the size of my camera, but it maybe the copy of the Martin guitar.

The Tokai Martin copies were better than most Japanese Martin copies. As HHP mentioned, the high end versions were pretty darned good. But even so, they’re kind of like Martin Shenandoah models in that they’re rarely worth what the people trying to sell them claim they’re worth.

I’d say check it out, play it, see what you think.

Just out of curiosity, is this a solid wood model? What’s the asking price?

mine is solid wood, not laminated
mine is the CE 150 model
