If anyone is looking for a semi-hollow guitar, you won’t find one any better than this for the price – $479 USD

Hey Keith, Good bargain for sure. Indonesia has some pretty good guitars coming out of there factories. Epiphone and PRS have plants over there too and the quality control seems good. I watched the PRS video from the NAMM show and the major difference is the laminated tops and electronics from Indonesia. The wood drying and labor are quite similar to USA models with a huge price difference. Di Angelico’s makes some awesome looking guitars with those signature headstocks. I haven’t played one yet though. Hope all is well.

                Hey Mike

Indonesia is making some great guitars for sure, G&L has chosen to build their Tribute line in Indonesia and the Tribute guitars are a great value. I think as far as quality is concerned, the Tribute guitars are as good as the Fender guitars that were made in Mexico and possibly better because of G&L’s commitment to Leo’s vision of building great guitars.
I’m hoping that more companies will move their production to Indonesia, Korea or some other country than China. Long story on why I say that I can’t go into here 🙂 Uncle Bryce would get mad at me LOL
